What you'll be doing:
Avon is seeking a talented and experienced Global Online Marketplace Manager to oversee and optimize our presence on various online marketplaces, with a focus on partnering with Amazon and Allegro, along with other key marketplaces. This role is crucial in driving Avon's online sales growth and expanding our reach to customers worldwide.
Key responsibilities:
- Marketplace Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketplace strategy aligned with Avon's overall business objectives, focusing on Amazon, Allegro, and other key marketplaces.
- Partner Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with marketplace partners, including Amazon and Allegro, to drive mutual growth and ensure Avon's brand integrity is maintained.
- Listing Optimization: Lead the optimization of product listings on various marketplaces to improve visibility, conversion rates, and overall sales performance.
- Inventory and Pricing Management: Monitor inventory levels and pricing strategies across different marketplaces to maximize sales and profitability while maintaining competitiveness.
- Performance Analysis and Reporting: Analyse marketplace performance metrics regularly to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Prepare comprehensive reports and insights for stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional markets and teams, including e-commerce, marketing, supply chain, and product development, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of marketplace strategies.
- Compliance and Policy Adherence: Stay updated on marketplace policies, regulations, and best practices to ensure Avon's compliance and mitigate any risks or issues.
- Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to drive innovation and enhance Avon's competitive edge in the online marketplace landscape.
Work Experience:
- Proven experience in online marketplace management, preferably in the beauty or consumer goods industry.
- Strong understanding of online marketplace dynamics, algorithms, and best practices, with specific expertise in Amazon. (Allegro would also be highly beneficial).
