We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Business Architecture & Analysis team and help us shape how Co-op operates today and in the future.
You'll work across strategy, business architecture, process design and transformation delivery, helping us understand complex business challenges and turn them into practical, effective change.
You'll play a key role in connecting strategic priorities with delivery, ensuring we make informed decisions that improve how we work and deliver for our colleagues, members and customers.

- What you’ll do
- Lead business analysis activity across complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives
- Work with business architects and stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for improvement
- Translate strategic goals, operating models and business architecture (business capabilities and value streams) into clear requirements, user stories and business outcomes
- Facilitate workshops and collaboration across business, technology, product and change teams
- Analyse end-to-end processes, helping to simplify ways of working and improve organisational performance
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing insight and challenge to support decision-making
- Assess the impact of strategic change across business areas, identifying risks, dependencies and opportunities to improve organisational effectiveness
- Provide practice leadership for Business Analysts through coaching, mentoring, quality assurance and the development of standards, helping build a high-performing and strategically aligned analysis capability
- Improve Business Analysis standards, tools and ways of working, while assuring the quality of analysis produced across the team
- What you’ll bring
- Significant Business Analysis experience within a large or complex organisation
- Experience leading, coaching or developing Business Analysts and supporting high-performing teams
- Strong requirements gathering, process analysis and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence, challenge and build consensus
- Experience leading workshops and facilitating discussions with a wide range of audiences
- The ability to connect strategic objectives with operational delivery and practical solutions
- Experience working on transformation, operating model, business improvement or organisational change initiatives
- Experience working with Business Architecture to understand capability models and value streams, translating strategic intent into clear detailed requirements and processes
- A pragmatic and collaborative approach, with the ability to work through ambiguity and deliver high-quality outcomes at pace
