Responsibilities
- Perform fault diagnosis and resolve failures on production machinery, including automation, electrical and mechanical issues.
- Escalate maintenance issues when necessary.
- Document maintenance activities and record details via SAP (CMMS).
- Drive continuous improvement through preventative maintenance activities, equipment checks and repairs.
- Complete risk assessments, permits to work and method statements for safe execution of maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (minimum).
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with automation PLCs, fault finding and diagnostics.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); SAP experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis and preventive/planned maintenance optimisation is advantageous.
