In Prestwick, we repair and overhaul aircraft engine fuel controls across Europe, Middle East and Asia.

As a Repair and Overhaul Technician, you will maintain high quality and precision standards in assembling, testing and inspecting aircraft engine components under the supervision of an Operations Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teardown, assemble and test products following documented procedures using specified tools and equipment.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to analyze, investigate and scope product work.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to verify accuracy and functionality, recording data per operating standards.
  • Adhere to 5S principles, keeping workstations clean, organized and free of unnecessary items.
  • Follow all safety protocols, procedures and regulatory requirements to promote a safe working environment.
  • Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Basic technical aptitude, following technical instructions and SOPs.
  • Mechanical aptitude – tear down, assemble and test components with hand tools and basic equipment.
  • Critical thinking – identify gap‑to‑standard issues and resolve or escalation per standard processes.
  • Team communication – communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors, escalating issues.
  • Time management – manage time to complete tasks within schedules.
  • Lean mindset – practice 5S, waste reduction, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Production systems – understand and use standardized work, escalating when cannot be followed.
  • Computer skills – basic software use (e. g., email, spreadsheets, data entry tools).
  • Attention to detail – precise execution and double checking for accuracy.
  • Collaboration – work cooperatively with team members, accept feedback.
