As a Repair and Overhaul Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of quality and precision that Woodward is known for in the aerospace industry.
You will work under the supervision of an Operations Supervisor, performing essential tasks such as assembly, testing, and inspection of aircraft engines and components, ensuring each product meets the highest operational and engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Teardown, Assembly and Test Product: Follows documented procedures to accurately and efficiently teardown, assemble and test product using specified tools and equipment.
- Process: Coordinates with appropriate members and cross-functional teams to perform analysis, investigation, and work scope of product.
- Quality: Conducts inspections and tests to verify the accuracy and functionality of products and records and maintains data per operating standards.
- Organisation & Cleanliness: Adheres to 5S principles by keeping workstations clean, organised, and free of unnecessary items.
Follows established guidelines to ensure tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

Salary midpoint £36,000 (Current shift pattern is days/nights, with a 16% allowance.
As the facility grows, the shift pattern may change) Woodward Operations Incentive bonus scheme – target of 7.5% paid quarterly, discretionary.
