As a Chef de Partie (Breakfast Chef) , you will take ownership of the breakfast section, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, consistency and presentation during the morning service.
Working closely with senior chefs, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional breakfast experience, preparing and cooking dishes to specification, maintaining organisation and efficiency, and contributing to a seamless and refined culinary experience within a luxury hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook and present breakfast dishes according to recipes, quality standards and presentation guidelines.
Manage the breakfast section, ensuring consistency, efficiency and smooth service delivery.
Prepare a range of breakfast items, including egg dishes, pastries, hot buffet items, continental offerings and à la carte selections.
Ensure all mise en place for breakfast service is prepared and organised to the highest standard.
Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills and other kitchen equipment to ensure optimal cooking conditions.
Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation to maintain the highest standards.
Assist with special dietary requirements and guest requests when required.
Maintain accurate food logs and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Communicate effectively with the team during service to ensure smooth operations.
Inform senior chefs of excess stock for use in menu planning and to minimise waste.
