We are seeking a dynamic, energetic and ambitious Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for and contribute to the delivery of sales targets set for an industry leading portfolio of awards and conferences. This will be specifically focused on developing and growing entry and ticket revenues through new business acquisition as well as upselling and developing existing business. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for sales, customer service, and organisational excellence to contribute to the success of these events and support future launches planned by the company.
Responsibilities
- Implement agreed sales plan/approach on each event campaign
- Identify, introduce and sign new clients to our portfolio of awards and conferences
- Manage and upsell existing clients by introducing them to all relevant opportunities
- Utilise social media platforms - build profile and post regular content
- Work collaboratively with other members of the wider sales team to help identify and grow entry and ticket revenues
- Manage communication with attendees and entrants so that they have what is required for the fulfilment of activity / attend events
- Clearly communicate with operations team to ensure key information (e.g. guest lists) is collected and managed to ensure effective delivery of events
- Deliver accurate and timely sales administration (including the management of pipeline data), keeping effective and up to date records on the company CRM system
- Keep up to date with the competition/market – read industry news
