The Role:
We are seeking a talented 3rd Line Support Network Engineer to join our expanding Infrastructure team based in Basingstoke. Reporting to the 3rd Line Support Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and maintaining secure network environments, with a focus on high service uptime and resilience.
You will be responsible for:
- Investigating, diagnosing, and resolving complex 3rd line network incidents
- Acting as the primary point of contact for escalated network issues
- Configuring, installing, and troubleshooting network devices (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet)
- Supporting critical operations environments, including military and high-security projects
- Collaborating with a growing team of Infrastructure Engineers
Essential Skills:
- Strong, hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and Cisco routing/switching technologies
- Solid understanding of OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, along with NAT, GRE Tunnelling, DMVPN, Subnetting, and Supernetting
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet devices
- Ideally holding CCNA certification
Benefits:

- Bonus: 5% annual performance bonus
- Clearance Bonus: Additional 10% DV Bonus once clearance is obtained (or if held upon joining)
