As a Platform & Retouch Specialist, you will play a key role in managing Avon’s global imaging operations, ensuring all visual assets are delivered with precision, consistency, and quality. You’ll oversee day‑to‑day retouching activities, maintain technical standards, and ensure our imagery reflects Avon’s brand across all markets. Working closely with creative and technical teams, you’ll optimise workflows, manage digital assets, and support innovation through the use of advanced tools, including AI and automation, to enhance efficiency and output.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day to day retouching of global master assets including colour correction, product cleanup, skin retouching, compositing, consistency balancing, and final file preparation.
- Maintain global retouching standards, technical QC guidelines, colour workflows, and image accuracy benchmarks across all markets.
- Execute advanced image production tasks including AI‑generated image creation, automated versioning, and high‑volume adaptation.
- Identify and implement improvements in retouching workflows, file structures, naming conventions, and technical imaging processes.
- Partner with global creative team colleagues to ensure assets delivered are fit for market needs, technically fit for purpose, and aligned with brand vision.
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of the DAM (“The Box”), ensuring uploads, tagging, rights management, and version control are executed correctly.
- Execute metadata governance practices and ensure compliance with global taxonomy and file‑naming structures.
- Contribute to training, onboarding, and capability‑building across markets.
- Ensure all retouched assets are properly versioned, archived, tagged, and distributed globally.
Experience & Skills Required
- 4‑8+ years hands‑on retouching, technical imaging experience.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and professional retouching workflows (colour management, layer theory, masking, compositing, product retouching).
- Strong understanding of DAM systems, metadata frameworks, file optimisation, automated workflows, and imaging technology.
- Knowledge of CGI workflows, AI image tools, and advanced image‑based automation.
- Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
- Comfortable collaborating across creative, marketing, and technical teams.

Responsible for ensuring global visual quality, technical accuracy, retouching standards, and brand imagery are upheld. Makes decisions with significant influence on creative efficiency, output consistency, and global asset production.
