Lead Solution Engineer – Salesforce Solution Engineering Team
Lead Solution Engineer responsible for architecting and delivering Agentforce solutions that unify humans and AI agents for customers in the UK Aero & Defence sector.
Works with customers, the Products team, and Professional Services to design, present, and implement solutions that drive profitable growth.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead the end‑to‑end solution cycle in close collaboration with other teams.
- Understand customers’ needs and position Salesforce products as the best solution for their unique challenges.
- Demonstrate deep industry and technology knowledge relevant to Aeronautics and Defence.
- Develop and deliver innovative custom solutions, build and present customized demos of Salesforce products and solution concepts to key decision‑makers.
- Participate in all relevant product, sales, and procedural training and certifications to maintain essential knowledge.
- Achieve quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management.
- Respond efficiently to RFPs and lead the technical side of the sales cycle.
- Design and prototype agentic workflows using Agentforce to solve complex business challenges.
- Guide clients on the strategic shift from legacy CRM workflows to an Agentic data platform where AI drives actionable insights.
- Engage in internal training programs and mentorship initiatives to grow professionally.
Requirements
- 5+ years of solution engineering, consultancy, delivery, or training experience for an enterprise software solution organization.
- Expertise in Agentforce for the aero and defence industry, including autonomous AI design and human‑agent collaboration strategies.
- Experience selling to customers across the UK in the salesforce sector and/or certifications related to Artificial Intelligence, generative AI and LLM concepts.
- Experience implementing digital transformation strategies, enterprise consulting, and delivering increased success to customers.
- Proven oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication and relationship skills.
- Proven time‑management skills in a dynamic team environment.
- Strong ability to work as part of a team to tackle problems in dynamic, energizing environments.
- Inquisitive, practical, and passionate about technology and sharing knowledge.
- Willing and able to travel occasionally.
- Experience evaluated against core competencies such as extracurricular leadership, military experience, volunteer work, insurance industry or financial services experience, etc.
