The Experience

Our AMER & EMEA Email Marketing team is looking for an experienced Email Marketing Lead to own EMEA Demand Generation and Event Audience Generation.

You'll balance business needs with channel health, driving Fiscal Year plan and KPI performance (eg leads, pipeline attribution), registration targets for events, and sustained engagement (e. g. click-through rate, unsubscribe rate, unsubscribe-to-click rate).

You'll partner closely with Field Marketing, Strategic Events and Demand Generation across EMEA.

This is an end-to-end role — from planning and audience strategy through AI-assisted Email production, send execution, reporting, and business reviews.

This is a hybrid role with three days in the office each week, in either Dublin or London.

  • What You'll Actually Be Doing
  • Strategy & Planning
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and collaborate on intake, self-service offers, campaigns, and performance.
  • Set each stakeholder's FY plan and KPI targets, using judgment on what's realistic given their business context, and adjust that plan in monthly reviews.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with stakeholders — reading the room, negotiating priorities, and making the call on what to prioritize.
  • Decide which cross-regional process or standardization initiatives are worth pursuing each half, and build the buy-in to land them across AMER/EMEA.
  • Bring forward-looking recommendations to business reviews — synthesizing signals into a point of view.
  • Demand & Audience Generation
  • Execute demand generation campaigns end-to-end — deciding when to refresh, elevate, or retire a campaign, and advising stakeholders on the right channel and approach based on program context beyond dashboards.
  • Align send calendar, suppressions, and sequencing directly with stakeholders — weighing whose priority wins this week across competing demands, and executing the resulting plan under time pressure.
  • Turn post-send data into actionable observations stakeholders will actually act on, beyond a summary of numbers.
  • Own escalation decisions on support eligibility disputes and flag process divergence between AMER and EMEA before it becomes a bigger problem.
  • Email Production & Self-Service Offering
  • Direct AI tools to accelerate email production — drafting, QA, and build support — but own final execution: what ships, what gets held, and what needs a human fix before send.
  • Drive adoption and success of our Email Self-Service offering for Field Marketing — spanning enablement, support, performance analytics, and joint growth strategies.
  • Assess whether a new email project request (e. g. email journeys) clears the eligibility bar (audience size, content availability, business case), then execute the build against a live send calendar.
  • Understand platform and technology releases and flag which ones matter for owned programs, and push the right issues to business partners.
  • Reporting & Compliance
  • Determine whether channel health signals reflect a real problem or an expected side effect, and decide what's worth escalating vs. monitoring.
  • Make the call on compliance edge cases around GDPR/CAN-SPAM/data governance across EMEA sub-regions, where consent rules vary and the automated check won't catch every nuance.
  • Deliver monthly stakeholder insights with root-cause commentary — the analysis behind the number, not the number itself.
  • Own reporting accuracy where attribution is ambiguous, and shape the narrative behind business review numbers.

You're Our Person If...

  • You have 7+ years of experience in Email Marketing.
  • Strong judgment on stakeholder relationship management: intake conversations, FY planning, and quarterly business reviews where negotiation and prioritization matter more than process-following.
  • In-depth experience with email marketing solutions/ESPs, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Hands-on comfort directing AI tools for email production work — able to evaluate AI-generated output and know when to override it.
  • Strong skills in SQL, HTML/CSS, and AMPscript — enough to judge whether AI-generated output is correct, with the ability to hand-code if needed.
  • Ability to read business metrics (eg responses, leads, attributed pipeline and maturation) and email metrics (UOR - open rate, UCTR - click-through rate, U: CR - unsubscribe-to-click rate) and turn them into a narrative and a decision, not just a report.
  • Comfortable making prioritization calls under pressure across events, always-on, and demand gen channels.
  • Working knowledge of GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and consent requirements across EMEA sub-regions, with the judgment to spot edge cases automated checks miss.

Even Better If...

  • Experience negotiating channel strategy with senior stakeholders on conflicting priorities
  • Additional EMEA language skills for direct stakeholder conversations.
  • Prior direct support of event programs, where competing priorities need real-time tradeoff decisions.
  • You have experience with Salesforce products, Marketing Cloud, or Agentforce.
  • You have built AI-powered marketing workflows, experimentation frameworks, or predictive segmentation models.
  • You have an in-depth understanding of how LLMs and Agents work and how APIs compare to MCP, combined with insight into how these technologies can support the email channel.
  • Unleash Your Potential
