Stagecoach is looking for drivers to join our Ashford depot. No experience is required – we provide fully paid training and cover the cost of your PCV licence.
Salary & Training
Pay rate during training: £12.71 per hour (training lasts 6-8 weeks). Shift patterns include early starts and late finishes, working 5 days out of 7.
Responsibilities
- Complete our industry-leading training and secure a PCV licence, followed by ongoing CPC training and professional development.
- Safely and confidently drive our fleet of 63 buses covering Ashford, Maidstone, Folkestone and Lydd.
- Ensure every customer has a great journey by delivering top-notch customer service.
- Provide a welcoming environment for passengers of all ages and backgrounds, especially those who rely on us most.
- Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Be 18 years old and hold a UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Right to work in the UK (minimum 183 days in the UK as part of DVLA requirement).
- Show a patient, safe and courteous approach to driving.
- Exhibit a positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering great customer service.
- Be willing to learn and be part of a brilliant team.
