We are a leading Leeds based security services company, looking to appoint an experienced, results driven Fire & Security Systems Business Development Manager. As a key member of our SLT, you’ll take ownership of new business development, pipeline management, and forecasting. You’ll play a vital role in achieving our revenue and growth objectives, while upholding The 4 Site Way values and maintaining excellence in every client interaction and process you manage.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the development and growth of new business across all service areas.
- Monitor year-to-date performance and maintain a healthy, accurate sales pipeline.
- Produce reliable sales forecasts to ensure revenue targets are achieved or exceeded.
- Provide clients with expert technical and commercial advice on compliant, cost-effective security solutions.
- Track and report sales across Installation Projects, Small Works/Remedials, and Maintenance & Monitoring Contracts.
- Collaborate with the Systems Director and Operations team to validate and update the sales pipeline.
- Analyse forecast versus actual performance to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement areas.
- Work closely with internal sales, operations, and finance teams to align on business goals.
- Deliver timely, accurate performance data to support strategic decision making.
- Lead or contribute to regular sales reviews, forecasting sessions, and performance meetings.
- Prepare detailed, accurate proposals and specifications that meet client and industry standards.
- Support pricing strategies, tender reviews, and conversion tracking to enhance win rates.
- Review lost opportunities to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform future sales strategies.
- Maintain dashboards and present insights on performance, growth, and pipeline coverage during Senior Leadership meetings.

The Benefits

- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to quote, design, and advise clients on integrated security solutions.

- Confident communicator with the ability to build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce, Power BI, CASH or similar).
