Marketing Assistant This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic startup company backed by an established partner and government support. The role will require a self-motivated, can-do individual with an interest and passion for marketing. Ideally a candidate would be searching for a long-term career and to be making a difference. Our recruitment and training service is working with 16–29-year-olds from a wide range of backgrounds. The company has ambitious growth plans and so this is positioned very much as a developmental role, with the opportunity to progress into a Marketing Executive position within 6-9 months as both the individual and the marketing function grow. Initially the successful candidate will be the marketing department, and it is likely that this role will commence in early January 2027. JOB PURPOSE The Marketing Assistant will with the support of the MD create and devise the marketing strategy. The initial aim is to support the sales team by creating a business growth function. The role will be fast paced with plenty of scope to make a difference. Digital Marketing Social media scheduling and management Campaign amplification across LinkedIn and other channels Promotion of product launches, services and campaigns Email marketing and newsletter production Mailing list management and growth 3. Events & CPD Promotion Event and CPD marketing campaigns Training and support meetings Registration management Attendee communications Event follow-up and reporting Support for the Events Hub process 4. CRM & Lead Management Management of marketing-generated enquiries Event lead administration and follow-up Database management and segmentation support Reporting on marketing activity and lead generation 5. Sales Enablement & Marketing Materials Management of brochures and printed literature Product guides and sales collateral Case study library Presentation materials Promotional merchandise and branded materials Support materials for product launches and business development activity 6. Marketing Reporting Ad hoc support with campaign and events General marketing administration support KEY RELATIONSHIPS MD Staff and volunteers Candidates Clients Supporters Person Specification Qualifications Degree preferably in marketing, with a genuine interest in building a career in marketing Skills & Knowledge Strong written communication; comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines; comfortable with hands-on tasks such as event preparation Competent with LinkedIn, Websites, Design, social media and databases Personal Attributes The successful candidate will be highly organised with strong attention to detail; proactive and self-motivated; curious and eager to take ownership; collaborative team player who supports colleagues; able to problem-solve independently and use initiative Interest in purpose-driven marketing and making a difference Additional Requirements Right to work in the UK Desirable - Full UK driving licence
