Pay: £40.00ph paid weekly via umbrella

Duties:
- Being responsible for the Responsive Repairs Team and its related functions, ensuring that repairs services are delivered effectively and efficiently to high standards.
- With particular focus on disrepair, damp and mould and other complex repairs.
- Managing the commercial focus of day-to-day property repairs services to tenanted properties and empty homes and elsewhere under contracts or agreements.
- Ensuring that strategic risk mitigations are delivered and to develop effective communication with tenants regarding the repairs service standards and delivery of reactive repairs.
- Ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory and statutory requirements governing areas of responsibility.
- Good understanding of relevant H&S legislation and CDM regulations and the awareness and ability to ensure work is in accordance with H&S legislation and CDM regulations.
- Management of high-quality customer service through a directly managed team of team leaders, chargehands and operatives, back-office colleagues and partnership contractors.
- Assist with the development of quotes, tenders and bids to further expand the work of the service into new internal and external markets.
