Full time - 37 Hours a week
Hybrid working model: Ideally one day per week in the office; however, remote working considered due to project-based nature of the role. Occasional travel to Solihull for stakeholder engagement.
Pay: £26.19 per hour (umbrella) - Some flexibility available on rates.
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Commissioning Officer to join our Adult Social Care team, with a focus on supported living services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review service specifications
- Engage and work collaboratively with providers and stakeholders
- Prepare clear, robust business cases to support strategic decision-making
- Lead and deliver commissioning activity within supported living
Essential Experience and Skills
- Strong understanding of Adult Social Care
- Proven commissioning experience within a Local Authority setting
- Experience commissioning supported living services
- Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to produce high-quality, well-structured documentation
