Duration: Ongoing Contract Long Term/Temp to Perm if everything goes well
Hours: Monday - Friday 7am-4pm
Pay: Β£20.03ph paid weekly via umbrella
Duties:
- You will be working as part of a multi-disciplined maintenance team on the landlord & tenant areas of corporate offices based in Bristol.
- Carry out Fabric Technician duties, such as but not limited to:
- Maintenance / repair to joinery
- Maintenance / minor repair to building fabric
- Ad hoc painting / touching up to properties
- Minor mechanical / electrical repairs
- Minor repair to plumbing systems and clearing blockages
- (PPMs) Planned Preventative Maintenance jobs assigned
- Lath & Plaster inspections
- Repairs and modifications to tiling
- Repairs and modification to door locks and door jam repair, hanging doors, adjusting and installing door closers
- Repairs and maintenance to ceiling tiles, and any general repair to the facility that is required to maintain the standard of the building.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous Fabric Technician role or similar experience in a large organisation
- Excellent technical competency skills in relation to general building repairs and maintenance and a sound understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- An ability to work efficiently as a team as well as under your own initiative in a demanding environment where accuracy is paramount
