We are recruiting a General Manager to lead our passenger transport operation in Ipswich and the surrounding area. We are looking for an experienced professional with strong operational management, team leadership, and business development skills, who can ensure service excellence and support the continued growth of the operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support the office administration team and operational supervisors
- Coordinate and oversee daily operations
- Identify and secure new business opportunities and develop relationships with new clients
- Maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service
- Participate in an on-call rota
- Provide operational support, including driving passenger vehicles when required
Requirements:
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence in Passenger Transport) qualification
- Category D driving licence + Driver CPC
- Availability to work full-time (30 hours per week may be considered for the right candidate)
- Live in Ipswich or within approximately a 20–30 minute commute
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to successfully complete a UK criminal record check (DBS check)
Package:
