My client is a specialist design and build contractor delivering complex projects across the data centre, defence and energy sectors. They are now looking for a Design Coordinator to join a flagship hyperscale data centre development in Hayes, supporting the design management team on one of the UK's largest and most technically demanding mission critical construction projects.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative design team, supporting the coordination and management of design information throughout the project lifecycle.
You'll play an important role in ensuring design documentation is issued accurately, design information is delivered on programme and project teams have the information they need to keep construction progressing efficiently.
Working alongside Design Managers, consultants, subcontractors and delivery teams, you'll help coordinate design activities, maintain project documentation and support technical reviews across a complex, fast paced construction environment.
You'll also gain valuable exposure to design management processes, Common Data Environments (CDE), multidisciplinary coordination and major project delivery, providing an excellent platform for future career progression.

We're Looking for Someone Who Has
Experience working within a construction, engineering or design environment.
A good understanding of the construction design process and design deliverables.
Knowledge of Building Regulations and construction documentation.
Experience coordinating project information and maintaining technical documentation.
Experience using project management software or Common Data Environment (CDE) systems would be advantageous.
Experience within data centres, mission critical, defence, energy, industrial or other technically complex construction environments would be highly desirable.
A Degree, HNC or equivalent qualification in Construction, Engineering, Design or a related discipline would be beneficial, although relevant industry experience will also be considered.
We're looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive, enjoys working as part of a team and has excellent communication and coordination skills.
