My client is a specialist design and build contractor delivering complex projects across the data centre, defence and energy sectors. Their reputation has been built on technical excellence, innovation and delivering projects where quality, collaboration and engineering expertise are fundamental to success.
They are now looking for a Site Manager to join a flagship hyperscale data centre development in Acton, taking responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of key construction packages on one of the UK's most technically advanced mission critical projects.
The Opportunity
This is a key site leadership role where you'll manage day to day construction activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme, quality standards and client expectations.
You'll coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams, ensuring resources are effectively managed while maintaining excellent communication across the wider project team.
Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers and commercial teams, you'll oversee site operations, monitor progress, manage short term programmes and identify potential risks before they impact delivery.
You'll also play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, quality assurance and site compliance, ensuring inspections, documentation and reporting are completed accurately throughout the project lifecycle.

We're Looking for Someone Who Has
Significant experience managing construction activities on major building or infrastructure projects.
A strong background working for amain contractor.
Experience coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers on live construction sites.
A strong understanding of construction sequencing, programme management and resource planning.
Experience managing quality assurance, inspections, NCRs and corrective actions.
A thorough understanding of health and safety legislation and site management best practice.
Experience within data centres, mission critical, defence, energy, industrial or other technically complex construction environments would be highly desirable.
An ONC, HNC or equivalent construction related qualification, together with a CSCS Manager Card and SMSTS. First Aid at Work would be advantageous.
