My client is a specialist design and build contractor delivering complex projects across the data centre, defence and energy sectors. They are now looking for an Assistant Design Manager to join a flagship hyperscale data centre development in West London, supporting the delivery of one of the UK's largest and most technically advanced mission critical construction projects.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within an experienced design management team, supporting the coordination of design delivery from concept through to construction and final handover.
You'll work alongside Design Managers, consultants, subcontractors and project delivery teams, helping to ensure design information is produced on time, coordinated effectively and fully compliant with project requirements.
You'll assist with monitoring design programmes, coordinating technical information, managing design queries and supporting the delivery of approved information to site.
You'll also gain exposure to design reviews, technical approvals, Building Regulations, CDM compliance and value engineering, giving you the opportunity to develop your skills on one of the UK's most prestigious construction projects.

We're Looking for Someone Who Has
Experience working within a multidisciplinary construction design environment.
Experience supporting design delivery during either pre construction or live construction projects.
A good understanding of design management processes from concept through to project completion.
Knowledge of Building Regulations, CDM requirements and construction design principles.
Experience coordinating consultants, subcontractors or technical stakeholders would be advantageous.
Experience within data centres, mission critical, defence, energy, industrial or other technically complex construction environments would be highly desirable.
A Degree, HNC or equivalent qualification in Construction, Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline. Candidates working towards a professional qualification or chartered membership would also be encouraged to apply.
