This is an exciting time to join 3T Additive Manufacturing. Due to increasing demand from our customers, we are expanding our CNC team. Based at our manufacturing facility on Greenham Business Park, RG19 6HN, you'll be responsible for programming, setting and operating 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines, producing high-end components to tight tolerances mainly within the Aerospace, Defence and Automotive industries.
This job would suit a competent 4 & 5 axis CNC machinist looking to develop into a programmer/setter on 5 axis & Turning Centre CNC machines.
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.

Your role as a CNC Machine Operator:
- Setting and operating 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines and Turning centres
- Tool life management and sister tooling
- Set up and run one-off developments and associated batches
- Assist in the definition of manufacturing and equipment requirements
- Provide support for the introduction of new facilities and equipment
- Support implementation and reporting of key projects or continuous improvement programmes
- Maintain workshop and machine standards
You will need to have:
- Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in operating 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machines
- Capable of reading drawings and an understanding of General Dimensions and Tolerances
- High level of precision and attention to detail in all tasks
