This role is contracted at 40 hours per week. The standard working pattern will be 7.30am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.
The Opportunity
3t Training Services are seeking to appoint a Rigging and Lifting instructor to work out of our Teesside training facility with occasional travel to North Shields. The purpose of the role is to deliver high-quality, approved training across awarding bodies including OPITO, GWO and ECITB. The successful candidate will be someone currently delivering rigging and lifting training or someone wishing to transition from industry to training.

- To deliver courses as required in line with 3t and accrediting body requirements
- To support customers during course delivery as appropriate
- To obtain positive customer feedback following course completion in line with KPIs set within personal development plan
- To participate in standardisation and continuing professional development events as required
- To provide support to trainee and existing Instructor/Assessors as appropriate
- To support department growth through technical input to new courses, training standards, customer meetings and the continual improvement of existing courses

Essential Criteria
- OPITO Rigger Stage 3 / 4
- OPITO Banksman Stage 3 / 4
- Crane Operative Qualification/Card (or willingness to work towards)
- Level 3 teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards)
- Assessor Award (or willingness to work towards)
