3t is currently looking to recruit a Competency Coordinator on a permanent contract located in Aberdeen, UK.

The Role
As Competency Coordinator you will facilitate and administer the competency framework. You will manage all aspects of arranging and maintaining competence requirements of MS client employees including enrolments, queries, obtaining and issuing accredited certification.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Efficient Competence Mailbox Administration.
- Candidate Progress Management.
- Compile and distribute Monthly MAH/Competence reports to competence team Lead and platform management.
- Quarterly Platform Management Team Call Participation.
- OPITO Apprentice Technician Focal Point.
- Competency Management Central Point for All Competence-Related Matters.
- Setting up portfolios within CMS system.
- Manage all aspects of the CMS system.
- Quarterly Strategy Meeting Attendance and Participation.
- Monthly Communication of Interdepartmental Changes to Assets.
- Develop Process Maps for Competence processes and procedures.
- Undertake additional duties as requested by the TMS Team Lead.

- Excellent coordination / organisational skills.
- Excellent communication / strong interpersonal skills.
- The ability to talk to all levels of company representatives.
- Sound knowledge of the Oil & Gas Industry as an advantage.
- Software system experience as an advantage.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Other Criteria
- Experience in a similar competency role (preferred).
- Training experience (essential).
Location: 3 days at 3t (Dyce) and 2 days at client office (Kingswells). Max. 2 days per week homeworking following any change request on successful completion of probation. We offer semi‑flexible working hours, with shifts available between 7:30am and 6:00pm (Monday–Friday), including a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break.
