3t is currently recruiting for an eCommerce Manager on a permanent contract, located in the UK.

The Role

As we continue to expand our digital presence internationally, we are seeking a commercially-astute eCommerce Manager to drive online revenue growth and optimise our website's commercial performance. This pivotal role will shape the future of our digital sales channels, ensuring our products and services reach customers efficiently and effectively across our core markets. The role will be an important part of the centralised group marketing team with an international remit.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Website Ownership & Optimisation: Lead the day-to-day and ongoing improvements to the website's user experience, navigation, and merchandising, ensuring a seamless customer journey from discovery to purchase, tailored to meeting regional requirements as needed.
  • Digital Marketing: Manage product listings, pricing, promotions, and course availability to ensure commercial targets are met.
  • Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to increase online sales and maximise conversion rates across all digital platforms to international audiences.
  • Performance Analytics: Monitor and analyse website performance, sales data, and customer behaviour, using insights to inform trading decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  • eCommerce Campaigns: Plan and deliver targeted online campaigns, including seasonal promotions, product launches, and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Customer Experience: Champion best-in-class online service, overseeing the end-to-end customer journey and resolving issues to maintain high satisfaction and retention.
  • Integration: Scale digital platforms to meet demands of our growing business needs, to reach international audiences (UK, Middle East, USA).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and IT teams to align development projects with broader business objectives and integrated campaigns.
  • Platform Management: Oversee the technical and operational aspects of eCommerce platforms, liaising with external partners and vendors as required.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure all online trading activities comply with relevant regulations, data protection standards, and security protocols.
  • Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to continuously enhance our online offering.

Ownership of eCommerce Programmes

  • Website: Full ownership of the day-to-day and ongoing development needs of 3tglobal.com, owning the strategy to scale the platform to meet the growing needs of our business.
  • Abandoned Basket: Develop and manage strategies to recover abandoned baskets and increase completed transactions.
  • Promotions: Plan, execute, and analyse online promotional campaigns to drive sales and customer engagement, implementing tactics such as promotional codes and referral discounts.
  • Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO): Lead initiatives to improve website conversion rates through testing, analysis, and implementation of best practices.
  • Lead Conversion & Nurture Flows: Design and manage lead conversion strategies and nurture flows to maximise sales opportunities made through the website.
  • eCRM Management: Own the management of eCRM platforms, ensuring effective segmentation, targeting, and campaign delivery that can inform email sequences and customer journeys to support retention and growth of our database.

You will have experience in:

  • Managing eCommerce operations for a B2B or B2C business, ideally within a technical or training-focused sector.
  • Using analytics tools to drive commercial decisions and optimise online performance.
  • Delivering successful digital marketing campaigns and promotions that drive online revenue.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Implementing best practices in website usability, conversion optimisation (CRO), and customer service.
  • Optimising websites for search, with strong working knowledge of SEO and CRO strategies.
  • Managing eCRM platforms and integrating new platforms and technologies to streamline marketing operations.

You will be inquisitive about:

  • The latest developments in artificial intelligence (AI) and its adoption within digital marketing and online search, with a keen interest in exploring how AI can enhance eCommerce performance and customer experience.

The experience we're looking for includes:

  • Experience of working within a dynamic multi-discipline marketing team across both B2B.
  • 3–5 years' experience in an eCommerce management role.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

We would expect you to have:

  • Further higher learning, preferably at degree level, or marketing industry training.
  • At least 3 years of working within an eCommerce management role.
  • Excellent communication skills, project briefing and management, and the ability to influence at various levels.
  • An acute attention to detail.

This is a remote role. Travel to our main UK offices will be minimal, but the successful candidate must remain flexible and willing to travel when required.
