3t Training Services is the UK’s largest and leading provider of training for the oil and gas, wind, and power industries, and a major player globally, whilst also making a significant impact on the wider utilities sectors including gas, electric, and water.

As the Senior Solutions Manager (Utilities & Net Zero) for 3t you will be responsible for key verticals of Training, Simulation and Digital. Your primary focus will be to develop and implement strategic plans to identify and target major energy sector, utilities, and power network opportunities.

  • Generate leads, qualify prospects, and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Create a high-performance sales culture with your colleagues.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, certifications, and standards related to the construction, rail, energy sector, utilities, and power generation to effectively position the 3t offering.
  • Use all the 3t CRM systems to source data and accurately record sales activity.

The job holder is expected to be flexible and undertake additional duties commensurate with the overall responsibilities of the role, and that are within their competence, when required.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of successfully selling complex B2B services, preferably within the construction, rail, or utilities industry.
  • Strong understanding of training and workforce development needs within the target industries.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Solid knowledge of the training industry (desirable).
  • Familiarity with training management systems, learning management systems (LMS), or related technologies would be a plus.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales and productivity tools.
