Your primary focus will be on effectively managing existing contracts and bidding to win new contracts and tenders in the funded learning space. You will hold account management and responsibility for funded contracts, needing to understand clients’ needs, driving value through our products and services, and act as a champion for 3t, ensuring a ‘One 3t’ mindset in all engagements with the client. You will keep up to date with new and existing government funding streams, e.g., Green Skills, Bootcamps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver against targets for existing contracts held by 3t, especially with college contracts and combined authorities.
- Widen 3t’s ability to attract more funding streams with colleges and combined authorities, strategically leveraging our capabilities as a training provider.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with internal teams to implement strategies.
- Generate leads for wider 3t product streams to refer to relevant 3t business development departments.
- Meet and aim to exceed sales targets and objectives, contributing to the overall growth and profitability of 3t.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Provide relevant insights to leadership on the performance of existing and new contracts.
- Review pipeline and CRM with the team and ensure timely progression of leads.
- Build and nurture relationships with existing clients and internal teams within 3t, specifically the funded learning team.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of sales activities and opportunities.
- Provide regular reports and forecasts of potential new funding wins.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional materials, campaigns and digital marketing strategies to support the funded learning department.
- Work closely with 3t finance teams to ensure a proactive approach to cash collection and billing, ensuring compliance is within everything we do.
- Work closely with the head of department and quality leads, ensuring contracts are being effectively managed from start to finish.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role working with and bidding for government funding.

- Strong understanding of training and workforce development needs within the core Training Services industries.
