3t is currently looking to recruit a Business Development Director (UK) on a permanent contract in the UK. This role can be based at any of our UK training centres and will involve significant UK travel.

The Role
As a Business Development Director at 3t Training Services UK, you will be responsible for driving UK revenue growth. You will leverage the full breadth of 3t’s capabilities and support the global expansion of managed services and workforce development, contributing to the Group’s strategic goals. You will lead from the front with a proactive, hands-on approach, generating leads, building relationships, and positioning 3t as a trusted partner in workforce development and operational excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), demonstrating deep knowledge of 3t’s solutions, products and services, industry trends, and client challenges to build trust and credibility.
- Deliver and exceed regional sales targets, contributing directly to the Group’s growth and profitability.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate key markets and sectors.
- Generate and qualify leads through targeted outreach and strategic networking.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and needs analysis to proposal, negotiation, and closing.
- Conduct impactful presentations and demonstrations that clearly articulate the value of 3t’s solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders across client organisations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals that address complex client challenges.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across the Group’s divisions and refer accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activity and pipeline in the CRM system.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy and positioning.
- Lead bid and tender submissions, coordinating input from relevant Group functions.
- Contribute to the development of sales enablement materials including case studies, technical documentation, and pitch decks.
- Stay informed on industry standards, regulations, and client expectations to ensure relevance and credibility.
- Champion a high-performance sales culture, putting client needs at the heart of every engagement.
This role will require significant travel across regions to engage with clients, attend industry events, and support business development activities.
