Overview
3T Additive Manufacturing Ltd invites you to join our expanding engineering team at the forefront of additive manufacturing (3D printing), servicing the Aerospace, Defence, Space, Energy, and Industrial sectors. This role is based at Greenham Business Park, Thatcham RG19 6HN. Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:30–16:30 (earlier finish on Fridays).
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to play a pivotal role in delivering customer projects from NPI right through to final delivery. You’ll be at the heart of optimising and monitoring our manufacturing processes, ensuring every project runs with maximum efficiency, quality and safety.
With your technical expertise and customer focus, you’ll drive continuous improvement initiatives, define manufacturing and equipment requirements, and ensure our processes are always a step ahead.
Responsibilities
- Determine the most effective and economical methods of manufacture
- Advise on project implementation and manufacturing requirements
- Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes
- Resolve production and quality issues swiftly and effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing/Project/Process Engineer
- Skilled in working with raw metal materials/metal machining processes from design through to manufacture
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and optimisation techniques
- Confident in customer interaction and translating requirements into practical solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments to deliver projects on time and to spec
- Essential – right to work in the UK without Visa Sponsorship now or in the future
