Warehouse Operative with a valid FLT (Counterbalance) license Location: Bedford Shifts: 4 on 4 off, days and nights rotating. 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am Salary: £30,245 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance) Contract Type: Full-Time – Permanent Are you a reliable, safety-conscious, team player with Warehouse experience? We’re looking for a dedicated FLT Operative who will get involved in Warehouse Operative activities to support our clients\’ busy operations and help maintain the highest standards. About the Role As a key member of our clients Warehouse team, you’ll assist with all aspects of operations during your shift — from receiving and checking stock to ensuring it’s securely stored and dispatched in perfect condition. You’ll be responsible for ensuring stock accuracy through the use of warehouse systems. You will also be using FLT counterbalance (must have licence) This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and a proactive attitude are essential. Key Responsibilities * Pick, stack, store, and secure stock to meet company and client standards. * Support a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse. * Accurately record and check goods in and out using warehouse systems. * Load/unload stock, inspect goods, and report any damages or discrepancies. * Operate FLT equipment safely. * Maintain effective communication with team members, stock control, and management. * Follow all company procedures and ensure all paperwork and checks are completed accurately. What We’re Looking For * Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (from a recognised training provider). * Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. * Previous Warehouse Experience £28,305 per annum with an annual shift allowance of £1,939.60 – making the annual salary £30,245 This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person!
