This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Sheet Metal Welder / Fabricator
to join a skilled and supportive production team, working on a variety of prototype and low-volume manufacturing projects for globally recognised customers across multiple industries.

The Role: As a
Sheet Metal Welder / Fabricator , youll be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated components for both prototype and low-volume production work. Youll work from detailed engineering drawings to manufacture precision parts that meet exact customer specifications.
Your Responsibilities: Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components Carry out high-quality TIG and MIG welding Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Operate press brakes, laser cutting equipment, and fabrication machinery Work with stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel Ensure work meets strict quality standards, including ISO 9001 and AS9100
What Were Looking For: Were looking for someone with a strong background in sheet metal fabrication who enjoys producing precision work to the highest standards.
Ideally youll have:
Proven experience in thin gauge TIG and MIG welding Sheet metal fabrication experience The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Desirable Skills: Experience within prototype or low-volume manufacturing Knowledge of laser cutting or CNC machinery Understanding of tight tolerance manufacturing and inspection processes City & Guilds qualifications in Welding & Fabrication or an Engineering Apprenticeship (advantageous)
