We are currently recruiting for a
Vehicle Valeter / Yard Operative
to join a busy and well-established business based in Barton-le-Clay. This is a varied, hands-on role working with vehicles before they are dispatched to customers. You will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are clean, presentable and ready for delivery, as well as supporting the day-to-day running of the yard. The Role
Your duties will include: Washing and cleaning vehicles ready for dispatch Cleaning vehicle interiors to a high standard Preparing vehicles for customer delivery Booking vehicles in when they arrive on site Booking vehicles out when they are ready for delivery Moving vehicles safely around the yard Maintaining vehicle batteries Collecting parts from local suppliers when required Keeping the workshop and yard clean, tidy and organised Carrying out general yard and vehicle preparation duties Supporting the wider team with other reasonable duties as required About You
We are looking for someone who is
reliable, practical and takes pride in their work . You will ideally: Have an interest in vehicles Take pride in keeping vehicles clean and presentable Be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Be physically fit and comfortable with lifting and carrying Be comfortable working from step ladders Have a good eye for detail Be organised and able to work independently Have a positive, can-do attitude Be reliable and punctual MUST HAVE DRIVING LICENCE Previous experience in
vehicle valeting, vehicle preparation, yard work, logistics or a similar hands-on environment
would be beneficial, but the right attitude and work ethic are equally important. Whats on Offer?
