We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Operative to join our global client's busy warehouse team in Bedford. This is a hands-on role combining forklift duties with wider warehouse responsibilities to ensure goods are moved, stored, loaded, and dispatched safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) safely and efficiently throughout the shift
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring products are handled carefully and accurately
- Support day-to-day warehouse operations, including moving, storing, and organising stock
- Pick, wrap, label, and prepare pallets for dispatch in line with company and customer requirements
- Maintain accurate stock traceability using warehouse scanning systems
- Ensure goods are stored correctly and safely within warehouse locations
- Carry out general warehouse housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow packaging specifications, delivery codes, and labelling requirements accurately
What We're Looking For
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence - essential
- Previous warehouse experience, including loading and unloading vehicles
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
