The Opportunity 3Sixty Talent Management is recruiting on behalf of an established and respected client within the commercial construction sector for an experienced Site Manager to join their growing team. Our client specialises in delivering a wide range of projects across commercial construction, building services, commercial fit-out, refurbishment, interiors and electrical contracting. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on and experienced Site Manager who enjoys taking ownership of projects, managing site teams and ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines, budgets, quality standards and health and safety requirements are consistently achieved. Please note: This is a nationwide position requiring regular travel to project sites across the UK. Candidates must be comfortable working away from home and staying overnight when required. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee construction projects from initial site set-up through to completion and handover. Develop and manage project schedules, work programmes and daily site activities. Coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople and site operatives to ensure projects run efficiently. Monitor progress against project deadlines, budgets and specifications. Ensure all site activities comply with health and safety regulations and company procedures. Carry out regular site inspections, safety checks and quality assessments. Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders. Ensure materials, equipment and labour resources are available when required. Monitor project costs, approve purchase orders and help prevent unnecessary expenditure. Identify and resolve site issues quickly to minimise delays. Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure all work meets client expectations. Provide regular progress updates, site reports and project documentation. Attend project meetings and ensure effective communication between site teams and management. Skills and Experience Required We are looking for a confident and organised Site Manager with strong construction knowledge and the ability to manage multiple aspects of project delivery. The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager or in a similar site management position. Experience overseeing commercial construction, fit-out or refurbishment projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and site operations. A valid Black CSCS Card. A good understanding of building regulations and health and safety legislation. Experience managing subcontractors, trades and site personnel. Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills. The ability to manage budgets, deadlines and project resources effectively. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software. The ability to work independently, make decisions and manage competing priorities.
