Our client is a well-established and forward-thinking business operating within the electromechanical refrigeration industry. Due to continued growth and an increasing project workload, they are now looking to expand their department with the addition of a Refrigeration Design Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within a highly technical and specialist industry. You will play a key role supporting the design, specification, costing, and compliance aspects of projects while working closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments. The ideal applicant will have previous experience within refrigeration, product engineering or building services. Full support and ongoing development will be provided for the right individual.
What's involved for the Refrigeration Design Engineer:
- Producing Refrigeration M&E schedules and designs
- Preparing quotations and project costings
- Compiling heat/load calculations
- Calculating pipe sizes
- Creating and reviewing system specifications and components
- Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to review specifications
- Assisting with O&M manuals
- Creating BREEAM documentation
