Our client is a well‑established and growing business operating within a fast‑paced supply chain and distribution environment. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a motivated and organised Stock Controller to join their office‑based team. You will play a key role in ensuring stock accuracy, maintaining supply continuity, and supporting the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the business.

The ideal applicant will have strong organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Previous experience within stock control, logistics, or supply chain environments would be advantageous.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Maintaining optimum stock levels and preventing overstocking
  • Monitoring daily stock reports and supporting annual stock audits
  • Raising daily factory orders and managing bespoke equipment requests
  • Verifying supplier acknowledgements and supporting demand forecasting activities
  • Resolving supply chain issues and managing factory delay reporting
  • Tracking shipments and supporting logistics and sourcing activities
  • Acting as the main point of contact for incoming goods, collections, and returns
  • Collaborating with internal departments regarding product quality issues
  • Managing stock allocation and maintaining month‑end slow/obsolete stock reporting
Requirements
  • Previous experience within stock control, logistics, supply chain, or a similar environment
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • The ability to work accurately within a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
