As they continue to grow, they are now on the hunt for a Senior Project Design Engineer to help design and lead projects for their manufacturing clients across the UK who are automating their manufacturing processes. What's involved for the Senior Project Design Engineer:
- Lead the mechanical design of products and systems using 2D & 3D CAD tools such as Inventor or AutoCAD
- Produce detailed drawings and technical documentation
- Support the prototyping, testing, and validation of designs
- Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies
- Help continuously improve design processes and engineering standards
- Manage and oversee project engineers and design teams
What you'll need:
- Mechanical Design Engineer experience at a senior level
- Design or Project Engineer experience within automation manufacturing is advantageous
- Strong skills in 2D/3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor etc)
