Our client is a market-leading manufacturing company with a strong global presence, having supplied products worldwide for over 100 years. Due to an ongoing business merger, they are seeking an Accounts Administrator to support the finance function on a 6-month fixed-term basis. Working within an established team, you will play a key role across a variety of finance and administrative tasks in a true "all hands to deck" environment. You will be expected to take ownership of your workload following initial training, so prior accounts exposure is essential.
What's involved for the Accounts Administrator:
- Allocating payments and supporting payment runs, including uploading payments
- Assisting with A/P, costings, and general ledger activities
- Carrying out reconciliations and intercompany recharge processes
- Checking authorisations, verifying costs, and approving company expenses
- Supporting the preparation and coordination of sustainability information and reporting
- Providing general administrative and finance support across the team as required
What you'll need:
- Previous exposure to finance/accounts is essential
- Strong administrative skills with a flexible, hands-on approach
- High attention to detail with strong numerical ability
- Confident and proactive mindset
- Ability to work independently after initial training
- Strong team player willing to support across multiple areas
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Competent in Microsoft Office
