In a nutshell Our client is a successful and growing manufacturing business looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking Despatch / Warehouse Operative to join their team at their Head Office in King's Lynn.

This is a varied and hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

The role will involve a combination of warehouse, despatch and production duties, including operating machinery, preparing products for despatch and supporting the wider production operation.

What's involved for the Despatch / Warehouse Operative Operate a panel saw and carry out production inspections.

Pack and inspect ancillary items ready for despatch.

Carry out quality and accuracy checks throughout the working day.

Follow stock control and warehouse management procedures.

Construct pallets for despatch.

Operate forklift trucks to move products and assist with loading and unloading vehicles.

Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Support other production and warehouse activities as required.

What you'll need Previous experience within a warehouse, despatch, manufacturing or production environment would be advantageous.

Strong team-working skills and a positive work ethic.

Ability to follow instructions and training effectively.

Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Good numeracy skills to support quality and accuracy checks.

Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling activities.

A valid forklift licence would be advantageous.

Benefits for the Despatch / Warehouse Operative £30,000 p. a, rising to £31,000 p. a. following successful completion of the probationary period.

Monday to Friday working hours.

Working hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm.

Full-time, permanent position.
