Our client is a leading Principal contractor in the UK that works on Design and Build contracts, specialising in full external envelope packages. They have vast experience in Fire remediation and new build projects including Curtain Walling, Windows and Doors, Roofing systems, specialised Renders, Rainscreen cladding and Steel Framing Systems. They have the ability to manage full building envelope packages as well as the full project cycle from initial design to installation, working with their team of specialist project managers to ensure a quality finish.

As Facade Site Manager you will have the full responsibility of overseeing a remediation cladding project based in North London (Nr Emirates Stadium, with easy access from the Piccadilly line). You will oversee all project elements for cradle to grave offering advice, instruction, and guidance to site workers.

What's involved for the Façade Site Manager:

  • Manage the subcontractor's site operations and workforce.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015).
  • Deliver daily briefings and toolbox talks.
  • Ensure workers have the necessary training, competence, and PPE prior to starting.
  • Plan and coordinate daily activities to meet programme deadlines.
  • Liaise with the principal contractor, client, and other trades.
  • Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with specifications and drawings.
  • Carry out regular site inspections and quality checks.
  • Identify and report defects, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
  • Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) are followed.
  • Conduct or participate in site safety inspections and audits.
  • Report accidents, incidents, and near misses.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy work area (good housekeeping).
  • Manage plant, equipment, and material deliveries.
  • Keep site records.

What you'll need:

  • MUST have knowledge of Façade/Building Envelope Systems
  • MUST have site management experience
  • MUST have SSSTS or SMSTS
