Our client is a leading Principle contractor in the UK that works on Design and Build contracts, specialising in full external envelope packages. They have vast experience in Fire remediation and new build projects including Curtain Walling, Windows and Doors, Roofing systems, specialised Renders, Rainscreen cladding and Steel Framing Systems. They have the ability to manage full building envelope packages as well as the full project cycle from initial design to installation, working with their team of specialist project managers to ensure a quality finish.
As Facade Site Manager you will have the full responsibility of overseeing rainscreen cladding projects across the North of England. You will oversee all project elements for cradle to grave offering advice, instruction, and guidance to site workers. You will ensure that projects are completed to programme, in budget, and to deadline.
What's involved for the Façade Site Manager:
- Managing the installation of fire remediation cladding project.
- Planning resources and activities to ensure the success of the project.
- Managing H&S, QA/QC process and progress on façade packages.
- Control and monitor day works for subcontractors.
- Supervising the striking of scaffolding.
- Producing QA reports supported by photographic evidence with corrective action if needed.
- Issue correct notices and relevant contractual correspondence to sub-contractors at the appropriate time.
- Overseeing projects from concept through to completion.
- Problem-solving, and managing the workforce.
- Complete stock control & requisition of all aspects of materials.
- Ensure clients' quality standard is respected and hand over completed areas.
- Monitor works progression and ensure the programme is met.
- Participate in progress meetings.
- Monitor compliance with all safety guidelines and policies.
- Establish and implement work schedules, adjusting them to meet project deadlines.
What you'll need:
- MUST have knowledge of Façade/Building Envelope Systems.
- MUST have fire remediation experience.
- MUST have site management experience.
- MUST have CSCS Card.
- MUST have SSSTS or SMSTS.
