Our client is a globally recognised brand, marketing and communications agency investing heavily in the future of organic discovery and AI-driven search. Due to continued growth and increasing client demand, they are expanding their specialist digital team with the appointment of a commercially minded SEO Director. This is an opportunity to shape how B2B brands appear across search engines, generative AI platforms and emerging answer engines while working with internationally recognised clients on complex digital transformation projects.
The SEO Director will lead the evolution of traditional SEO into a broader AI discovery strategy, helping clients strengthen visibility across platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity. You will combine strategic leadership, technical SEO expertise and innovation to deliver measurable growth while influencing the agency’s wider SEO and AI search proposition. The role offers significant autonomy, client ownership and the chance to work at the forefront of how AI is reshaping digital discovery.
Role Highlights- Lead organic search and AI discovery strategies across a portfolio of B2B clients
- Shape GEO and AEO frameworks to improve AI-generated visibility and citations
- Oversee technical SEO programmes including migrations, audits and site restructures
- Partner with PR, content and development teams to strengthen authority and discoverability
