Our client, a high-growth D2C Consumer Goods brand is hiring for a brand new role on their team, a Head of Ecommerce . Up until now they've had no one internally looking after the website, so this is a unique and exciting opportunity for someone wanting to come in and make an impact!
About the Role:
- Oversee and lead ecommerce performance for their UK market, ensuring seamless user experiences.
- Own website trading, focusing on conversion rate optimisation (CRO), lifetime value (LTV), and average order value (AOV).
- Lead and collaborate on customer journey improvements, enhancing site navigation, PDP's and collection.
- Oversee on-site strategy, including promotions and performance-enhancing content.
- Utilise data analytics to drive insights, reporting to senior leadership on key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and development, to maximise website effectiveness.
- Lead website funnel testing and optimise customer journeys.
- Monitor commercial performance, analyse KPIs, and recommend actionable insights to drive growth.
- Manage and mentor a team of 3 including an SEO & Content Manager, UX Designer and CRO Manager.
About You:
- Proven experience in ecommerce management in a high-growth ecommerce business.
- Strong background in direct-to-consumer (D2C) or subscription businesses.
- Lots of ideas, loves website optimisation and testing.
- Hands-on experience in CRO, UX/UI principles, and web analytics.
- Financially savvy and highly analytical, with a track record of revenue growth.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
- Skilled in managing diverse, cross-functional stakeholders.
