The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Bid Manager to lead our client's dynamic bid team. This pivotal role involves overseeing the end-to-end bid process, ensuring the delivery of compelling and competitive proposals that align with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bid Strategy & Development: Define win plans, develop bid strategies, and ensure alignment with client needs.
- Stakeholder & Team Collaboration: Engage internal/external stakeholders, manage bid governance, and mentor team members.
- Bid Execution & Quality Assurance: Oversee bid programme, write/review quality responses, and ensure timely submissions.
- Risk & Competitive Analysis: Track and mitigate risks, conduct competitor analysis, and optimize win themes.
- Process Improvement & Reporting: Enhance bid management best practices, oversee design/production, and provide progress reports.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bid Manager or Senior Bid Manager within the construction industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a bid team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in bid management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
