E-commerce Marketplace & Pureplay National Account Manager

The Opportunity
This is a high-impact role within a newly created e-commerce team, focused on building and scaling emerging digital channels beyond Amazon. The business is one of the UK's fastest-growing consumer healthcare brands and has a strong existing e-commerce base and is now investing heavily in expanding into marketplaces and pureplay retailers, creating a significant opportunity for growth.
The role offers the chance to play a key part in shaping channel strategy, launching new partnerships, and driving commercial performance across a fast-growing and underdeveloped area of the business.
The Role
You will own the commercial performance and growth of marketplace and pureplay accounts (non-Amazon), combining account management with business development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining channel strategy, identifying new platforms, partners and growth opportunities
- Owning key customer relationships and delivering against revenue, margin and performance targets
- Building and executing joint business plans, including assortment, promotions and pricing strategy
- Leading onboarding and negotiation of new marketplace and pureplay partnerships
- Planning and delivering promotional and trading activity across accounts
- Working cross-functionally with content, activation and marketing teams to ensure best-in-class execution
- Using data, reporting tools and dashboards to identify growth opportunities and optimise performance
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a commercially driven e-commerce professional with experience managing online accounts and driving growth.
Ideal candidates will have:
- 3+ years’ experience in e-commerce, marketplace or account management roles
- A proven track record of growing online channels or customer accounts
- Strong commercial understanding of pricing, promotions and P&L ownership
- Experience working with marketplace or pureplay retailers (e.g. Ocado, LookFantastic, TikTok Shop, etc.)
- Confidence working with data and turning insights into actionable plans
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
