BRAND NEW SENIOR HIRE – FAST-SCALING CHALLENGER BANK This business is constantly evolving, and have recently launched a new arm of the business. There was appetite from other businesses to adopt their tech and so this agency-esque technology function was created. With their award winning banking platform being adopted by other brands they now need dedicated design resource to support with the development of their design system and drive exceptional user experiences for the adopters of the platform. What they need – A seasoned product designer who can lead on the creation and implementation of their Design System – extensive track record with design systems is key! Someone to work in tandem with the engineering team to ensure the design system and it’s rollout across multiple clients is improving the quality and UX across web & app products A detail orientated product designer, who understands how to own design processes from research through to delivery A highly commercial design specialist, who is confident undertaking rigorous testing to deliver UX and UI enhancements for the growing client base Someone who can be assertive with their recommendations when it comes to visual design, UX improvements and maintaining a robust design system What you’re great at – Applying your track record in Product Design, Design Systems and Visual Design to a fast-scaling tech business (ideally you’ll have worked in a similar environment) Solving complex banking/financial services product design challenges, collaborating with the wider team to uphold integrity with the design system (prior FS experience feels essential) Standardising design principles to help clients achieve consistent visual design at scale Working autonomously, and comfortable with ambiguity at the early stages of product development Being the lead IC in a fast-paced business, confidently advising stakeholders both internally and externally on design best-practice Advocating for best-in-class UX and UI in a highly entrepreneurial environment – not afraid to work under your own steam and liaise with various product & engineering counterparts to drive your projects forwards What you’ll get – Share options Discretionary Bonus Hybrid/Flexible working (2 days p/w in Central London) Holiday allowance Significant company pension contribution
