This Junior Category Merchandiser role sits within a high-performing trading function that plays a key part in shaping how customers discover and engage with products online. Following sustained expansion and increasing demand across multiple digital platforms, our client is strengthening its Category Merchandising capability to support product growth, improve site content quality and optimise conversion performance across key categories.
The Junior Category Merchandiser will support the end-to-end ecommerce product lifecycle, ensuring new products are accurately published, well-presented and commercially optimised across multiple websites. The Junior Category Merchandiser will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain product data integrity, enhance digital merchandising standards and support trading activity that directly influences customer engagement and sales performance.
Role Overview:
The Junior Category Merchandiser will contribute to the delivery of a seamless and engaging online shopping experience, ensuring product content is accurate, consistent and commercially effective across all digital touchpoints.
Role Highlights:
- Support onboarding of new products across ecommerce platforms in line with trading calendars
- Source, manage and upload product imagery and digital assets via internal systems
- Maintain and improve product content accuracy, consistency and brand compliance
- Monitor competitor websites to identify merchandising and content optimisation opportunities
- Assist with promotional updates, site trading activity and ongoing digital maintenance
Confident Excel/Google Sheets ability, including VLOOKUPs and basic formulas.
