This is an opportunity for a Mid-Weight Creative Project Manager to join a fast-moving global creative team supporting a broad portfolio of marketing work. You’ll own your own workload of small-to-medium creative projects from brief through to delivery, acting as the essential bridge between internal stakeholders and creative specialists.

It’s a role for someone who enjoys pace, variety and autonomy - someone who can bring structure to busy creative environments while being proactive enough to spot gaps, challenge unclear requests and keep work moving.

What they need

  • Someone who can independently own a portfolio of creative projects, managing multiple pieces of work simultaneously rather than simply supporting a senior PM. You’ll be responsible for timelines, deliverables, reviews, approvals and stakeholder communication from start to finish, with senior support available when work genuinely becomes more complex or strategically significant.
  • Someone who is comfortable operating in a high-volume creative environment, where the workload isn't exclusively made up of large campaigns. You’ll be managing a constant flow of BAU creative alongside smaller campaigns and projects, so strong prioritisation and the ability to keep multiple moving parts under control are essential (agency background highly desirable).
  • A design/creative PM who can turn ambiguity into action, particularly when stakeholders submit incomplete or poorly defined requests. You’ll need the confidence to ask the right questions, challenge unrealistic timelines or scope, and help shape requests into clear, workable briefs for the creative team.
  • Someone who understands how creative teams actually work, ideally having operated within an agency, studio or in-house creative environment. You don't need to be a designer, but you should understand the realities of creative workflows, dependencies, feedback cycles, approvals and the time required to produce good work.
  • Someone who is proactive, commercially aware and collaborative, who sees project management as much more than maintaining a tracker. You’ll build trusted relationships with your internal marketing stakeholders, understand their priorities and find ways to make the creative process work better for everyone involved.

What you're great at

  • Creative project management, with proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects from briefing through to final delivery across an agency, studio or in-house creative environment.
  • Workflow and delivery management, including timelines, milestones, resource coordination, dependencies, approvals, scope management, risk identification and status reporting.
  • Stakeholder management, with the confidence to work directly with marketing stakeholders, creative teams and senior colleagues, keeping people informed while diplomatically pushing back when requests, timings or expectations need challenging.
  • Creative workflow tools and systems, with experience using project/workflow management platforms and maintaining clear, accurate visibility of workloads, priorities and project status.
  • AI and process innovation, with an interest in how AI-supported tools and smarter workflows can remove unnecessary admin, improve efficiency and help creative teams spend more time on the work that matters.

What you'll get

  • Manchester-based, with a hybrid working model expected to be around 2–3 days in the office, with the wider creative team distributed internationally.
  • Genuine ownership of your own portfolio of creative work, rather than operating purely as support for a Senior PM.
