Remote with occasional travel to Manchester City Centre
About the company
This business has been only been operating 2.5 years but is already in multiple large councils across the country.
This business has an engineering solution that addresses a perpetual problem within social housing risking tenant health, to the degree that people have died. Mould.
They have a great business with a product proven to work, but require a salesperson who matches their endless ambition to help them scale.
The role
- Build relationships with councils - Ingratiate yourself in councils/national housing associations up and down the country.
- Network with stakeholders - The cost of the product is pretty low on a monthly leasing model - this means stakeholders will ultimately be the buyer and you will establish who they are and stick close to them.
- Build sales and pricing model - Help build the sales strategy which will be a combo of direct sales, selling through partners, and operating franchise arrangements.
- Navigate a multi-channel approach - Cold calling, trade shows, networking events, face to face meetings, email, LinkedIn and anything else proven to work should be experimented with to find the right mix.
- Build sales team - Over time this role will get bigger, with promotions definitely on the cards to the right person who can contribute significant revenue.
Why you would want to join?
- A builder role - Build the sales strategy, set the tone for the commercial success of the business, and reap the rewards of your hard efforts.
- Earning opportunity - Uncapped earning potential where the owners want this person to share in the spoils to incentivise hard work.
- Remote work - when you are not on the road, this is a remote role with occasional travel to Manchester.
- Social good - The product prevents tenants from ill health and even death. There is a baked in social good.
- Great owners - Ambitious owners with a technical engineering background who require a sales person's expertise to take their incredible product to market.
Who you will be
- You will have sold in to councils, local authorities, or housing associations, understanding those nuances.
- Ambitious and looking for an opportunity to earn, learn and catapult your career forward. Definitely not a cushty 9-5 gig.
