London (4 days office based). For candidates who live outside of London, remote options with occasional monthly travel are considered.

We have partnered with a high-growth Tech business in London to help them hire for an important new role on their team, a Head of SEO. With lots of new investment, clearer strategic direction and higher ambitions, this is an opportunity not to miss!

You will take full ownership of their organic search strategy, reimagining their SEO & GEO roadmap with AI-powered discovery at the forefront. You will lead high-impact work across technical SEO, programmatic content systems, and platform-wide optimisation - driving exponential growth.

Please note, this is a strategic AND hands‐on role within a small team so you need to be confident and comfortable in the day-to-day execution as well.

About the Role
  • Define and deliver an organic growth plan that supports wider product and commercial priorities.
  • Strengthen the underlying technical set-up to improve discoverability (site structure, machine-readable signals, crawl and index efficiency).
  • Manage a scalable roadmap for geo and template-driven page expansion.
  • Build organic thinking into decisions made across product, engineering, brand, and content teams.
  • Run structured testing and measurement, using analysis and forecasting to guide what ships.
About You
  • Proven experience in high‐complexity, high‐volume SEO environments.
  • Worked for a fast‐moving business (Ideally Tech).
  • Strong strategic thinker with ability to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in.
  • Commercial ownership: accountable to key metrics, not just SEO tasks.
  • Deep technical expertise within SEO: Schema, internal linking, crawl hygiene etc.
  • Ability to educate & influence non‐SEO leaders.
  • Previous team management experience would be a bonus.
